Hoburne 5 mile Road race @ Hoburne Park

Entries are filling up for the Hoburne 5 2018.

Entry fee (online or postal) is £11 (affiliated) / £13 (unaffiliated)

Confirmed Entries up to 14 Jun 2018

Our quirky beachball medal wasn’t to everyone’s taste so we are introducing metal medals this year which forces us to also raise our entry fees a bit.

The earlier start time of 10:30 should lead to less traffic where the race passes the church. This is in response to some feedback from our wonderful marshals.

This year race proceeds will go to MacMillan Caring Locally, Fortune Centre Riding Therapy and Abby’s Heroes.

Last year the race raised £2900 for good causes:

£2700 to Bournemouth Leukaemia Fund (290340)*

£200 to Cancer Research UK

* boosted by contributions from: BAE Systems £750, the Roman Group £500 and Brewers Decorating £200

The hosts for the start and finish of the race are once again Hoburne Park, part of the Hoburne Holiday Park Group.

It is a tremendous advantage to the event that we have such good facilities available.

Should you wish, there is an on site carvery available (but not included in the entry fee).
